Society yearns for perfection
It looks up on idols, and tears them down if they waver
Why do people want perfection?

When such a thing as perfection does not exist
Humans are not perfect
It is simply our nature to err
So then why is it that impossible thing we strive for?

People only near perfection on the precipice of death
People reach their perfection
In the seconds that their breath leaves their bodies

I therefore believe it is impossible to die
